A little help, right here.
Saving your first receipt
Create an account, confirm your email, and create a folder. Open “Add a receipt,” take or choose a photo, or pick a PDF receipt, and save it. Review the merchant, purchase date, amount, and currency before confirming.
When automatic scanning needs help
Faded print, blurry photographs, and ambiguous dates can be difficult to read. You can always enter or correct the details yourself. Your original photograph stays attached to the record.
Expense totals and exports
Only confirmed, included allocations contribute to reported spending. Refunds reduce spending. Mixed-currency totals are kept separate. Exports include a CSV of your confirmed expenses and their original photographs.
Supported files
ReceiptBuddy accepts JPG and PNG photographs and PDF receipts, up to 10 MB each. A PDF must not be password protected, and receipts of more than twelve pages are not accepted. If your iPhone saves photos as HEIC, convert to JPG first — or use the ReceiptBuddy app, which converts automatically. A clear photo of one receipt works best.
